I had an opened pickles glas so I searched for a recipe where I could use them. Pic related is the outcome.
I followed the recipe almost except for adding bacon.
>Boil the potatoes in salted water and cut into 2-3 cm cubes. Boil the eggs in boiling water for 10 minutes. Cut the eggs and pickles into small cubes. Reserve the pickle liquid. Finely chop the onion.
>Place everything in a large bowl.
>For the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan. Carefully stir in the flour a little at a time until the butter reaches a creamy, thick consistency. Stir constantly to avoid lumps. Pour in the milk and heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, for about 5 minutes to reduce the flour flavor. Season with parsley, salt, and pepper to taste. Stir in about 5 tablespoons of the pickle liquid.
>Add the potatoes, eggs, cucumbers, and onions and gently fold in.
